hello, hello, hello everyone!
So as you all know I've been touring with Leona recently and I've been super busy! So I'm gonna talk about that in this blog.
The tour so far then.
The shows have been pretty much packed with amazing crowds. It's a real mix of people! At the last London show on Wednesday there were some people who were right at the front with a sign saying Gab's fab! Very cool!
Nottingham would have to be a highlight so far, I loved it! They've got such a great crowd!
I've really enjoyed the London shows too.
Normally I need to get back to London straight after each show though. So when we're out up north it's been hectic.
One trip I had to do recently was from Manchester to London to Czech Republic, drive 3 hours to a rock festival, then all the way back again for the next gig that next evening!
I still feel good though and I'm trying to keep my energy up and look after myself. We're going out after the last London gig which I'm really looking forward to!
I've bumped into Leona a few times. She seems really busy but she sent me a card at the beginning of the tour saying that it was a pleasure to share the stage which was really sweet!
Lots of people have been asking me about the vegetarian catering for the whole tour. I'm not a veggie myself but it's actually been quite nice, I never realized that Tofu could be used in so many different ways! It is good but just not sure about a Sunday roast with fake bacon. A bit wrong!
Apart from the fake meat substitutes there are lots of really nice vegetables and fruits backstage and puddings like chocolate brownies!
I'm trying hard not to stuff myself before going on stage though!!!
Quick mention about the outfits on the tour.
I've been wearing a sequin jumpsuit/shorts combo with chiffon drapes inspired by Donna Summers "I Feel Love" performances. It's really disco looking!
I love the labyrinth theme to the whole tour. A touch of Lord of The Rings. I'm a massive fan!
I also managed to sneak a peek at Leona's dressing room and it was sooooo nice! Loads of flowers, dimmed lighting, and scented candles. I was a bit jealous since we normally have those kind of sports changing rooms that you find at the back of stadiums as our dressing rooms!
Oh well when I have my own tour I'm going to have a personal Japanese chef! Haha, forget nutritionists and personal trainers!
Love Gabs xxxxxxxx
